After two days of trying to get through the leftovers from the weekend party, we finally got smart and juiced everything. An almost tired green salad perked right up with a little fruit and ginger. Juicing may be my new way to "clean out" the refrigerator. It used to be soups or stir-fry, but juicing for the summertime sounds perfect.
Final edits on a rainy morning for my workshop welcome video. Finishing up the maple yogurt and such as we prepare for a little break this month. My body feels ready and willing, I'm really looking forward to it. We don't officially begin until Monday, but everyone is settling into the classroom quite nicely, exchanging hellos and showing support. I love this.

So much rain this week. The ground filling with water, plants bursting with green. Dark and dreary, yet all of this new life makes it worthwhile.
I love the coziness of a rainy day, or stretch of rainy days for that matter, but the return of the sun is a welcome gift too. So much planting and garden maintenance to do today. Oh, the things we have in the works... at some point I'll get my camera out there to capture a few things. For now, I best get started on this day.
