I've always thought The Simple Woman's Daybook was such a beautiful idea.
Today I will join in.
Outside my window... hazy, so very hot, and humid. Still, the neighborhood is awake and bustling just the same.
I am thinking... there is too much on my plate right now.
I am thankful for... the relationship I have with my daughter.
From the learning rooms... discussions about not wanting to be an architect but rather a doctor. This makes more sense given who she is.From the kitchen... trying to figure out ways to include with everything the early spring (finest we've ever tasted) honey that we picked up at the farm this weekend.
I am wearing... green linen pants, white v-neck tee, five earrings, no shoes.I am creating... wearable art pieces.
I am going... to take Emily and possibly a friend swimming later today.I am reading... Tea House on Mulberry Street
I am hoping... I have time to prepare for my meeting this afternoon.I am hearing... birds on the trees, planes in the sky, the hum of my computer, a neighbor calling her furry friend.
Around the house... organizing and deep cleaning in the kitchen. One of my favorite things... my girl's belly laugh. At twelve, it is exactly the same as when she was two.
A few plans for the rest of the week: work, study, play... hopefully a day trip with friends tomorrow. Here is picture for thought I am sharing...
Relaxing in the air conditioned library...
