April vacation is officially underway here. I think I'll keep things simple each day and share a photo (or three!), a few words, and maybe a link to an inspiring spot on the web. The recipients for the giveaway will be announced tomorrow, there is still time to comment!
Yesterday we headed out of town and took Emily to the Yale Peabody Museum. She loves it there. She was especially excited to see the replica of "Lucy". So many leaves were on the trees compared to here, just one hour south.
While in New Haven we stopped at Ikea just to walk around and gather inspiration for kitchen design (very early stages of planning a redo - which includes a wall removal - yes!) and a bedroom makeover for Emily. Of course, Ikea inspired my twelve year old girl to decide it perfectly suitable to throw a sleeping bag in the corner of your room, call it the bed, and turn the rest of your space into a PANINI SHOP!! Um... we'll have to think about that for a bit. But honestly, I'm the kind of mom that could be talked into such a plan.
