This is about where I'm at right now... happily.
This is such a good time of year, in my corner of the world it's all about May and October. Nothing quite compares. I haven't really found myself too close to the computer over the last few days, but I did want to stop in here for a minute to say hello. Hello!
Maybe we should do this tid-bit post bullet style...
A handmade shop update is officially on the back burner until summer. There is just no way I can make it happen. If by some act of grace I am able to fill and fluff the nest over there before summer, you will be the first to know. ;) The garden is mostly planted! And it looks like we will also have a spot in the community garden just a mile from the house - over there we will plant tomatoes, peppers, basil, corn... sunny stuff. Here at home, in our shady back yard, we will continue to tend what I affectionately refer to as our green smoothie garden. Back in January I mentioned the movie Who Does She Think She Is, and how I was bummed I couldn't find a showing close to me. Then I received an email from a long time, very supportive reader (she does not have a blog but you may know her from the comments as Lisa from CT), well, Lisa said in her note that she does work for a somewhat local theater... and if she whispered in the right ear... there just might be a chance for a showing. It wasn't easy, but she sent a final email saying it was a go! It's scheduled for next Tuesday May 12th!! I wanted to let folks in this region know about it... I'll be driving a bit to get there, I hope you will too! Find details at The Fairfield Theatre Company website. Thank you Lisa!!! When I was over at their website I noticed the Ryan Montbleau Band is playing this Saturday! I would love to be there. This is why...

You may have noticed a little while back I started offering sponsorship opportunities here on the blog. If you care to learn a little more about why I'm taking the plunge and how you can be involved, check out this page for all the info.

I'm thinking about making my own dog and kitty food. Does anyone know anything about this? Any advice or info?
Be back soon!
