I'm not one to check the weather forecast each day so waking up to falling snow this week was such a nice surprise. I generally don't need to drive anywhere - if the snow flies I can hunker down and ride it out with some knitting, a book, and a few mugs of something steamy. So, as soon as winter approaches, I say let it snow, snow, snow. (And then I hope that other people don't have to be on the roads either - except for my husband who looks forward to driving in the snow. Crazy man.)
Lately I've been craving more heat during yoga. The floor feels cold during my mini-practices throughout the day and I'm reminded of my youth when the basement wood stove heated the floor so beautifully. I'd probably never get up once I found my way into savasana if I had a wood stove now (my parents removed it years ago). Oh, but I would take my chances... I miss having fire in the house.

Coming soon... I'll be in touch with full details in early December (registration will open then too), but for now I wanted to briefly share a glimpse of something new, coming soon. This workshop has been in the idea and dreaming stage for three years now and I'm so glad to have finally made the time to pull it all together as one program. I do love a good hibernation.
