Outside my window... the sun is incredibly warm, the air so thick you could slice it.
I am thinking... that we have such a rich, unique opportunity in front of us, and how thrilled I am to make the most of it.
I am thankful for... a partner who is on the same page, in everything.
From the learning rooms... ordering supplies, painting and setting up new spaces. Researching and choosing French curriculum/program options.
From the kitchen... as much as I love to cook, I also love to be fed. My fellow housemates have begun taking over dinner duty once or twice a week. It is such a gift to me.
I am wearing... grey yoga pants, purple tee
I am creating... new, inspired spaces within our home. One of my favorite ways to create.
I am going... to see Emily's friend in Oklahoma tomorrow.
I am reading... oh my... I am reading endless amounts of seventh, eighth, and dare I say, ninth grade materials right now.I should really pick up a new novel at the library later. Something light and breezy.
I am hoping... tomato blight does not become widespread this year. I've heard of a few farms close by that have been hit... so far ours is safe. So devastating.
I am hearing... the rattling of an old fan that is trying so hard to cool down this room.
Around the house... two loads of laundry on the line, hoping to dodge the threat of a passing storm.
One of my favorite things... a bowl of fresh blueberries with a drizzle of light, early spring honey.
A few plans for the rest of the week: things are kind of slow moving around here, it's been so hot. I'd like to play around with drawing lace... or something reminiscent of lace.
