FOR TODAY
Outside my window... oh, the rain! Hearing my neighbor prepare their tea... with open windows, it's pretty cozy.
I am thinking... this practice week of returning to a more defined rhythm is good for all of us. Including Sukha, who is happy to be invited on daily, early morning walks. Thirty minutes of fresh air each day before settling into our studies, that is the plan.
I am thankful for... the freedom that I feel right now.
From the learning rooms... gathered and purchased a few remaining supplies yesterday. Feeling happy with the environment we've set up. Of course this Montessori family has to have some sort of environment.
From the kitchen... roasted potato and corn chowder, summer is surely winding down now.
I am wearing... favorite pair of levi's, black scoop neck tee - long sleeve.
I am creating... a painting for a dear friend who's life is about to change in the best of ways.
I am going... to happily continue working on all of this room swapping, redecorating, and rearranging that's been going on.
I am reading... Housekeeping still, it is wonderful.
I am hoping... for a relaxed weekend this week. The past few have been very hard working and we are ready to put our feet up. ;)
I am hearing... my daughter waking up and Adam making her laugh already.
Around the house... contentment.
A few plans for the rest of the week: soccer practices, picnic with friends, squeezing in as much art time as possible.
