... this would be it. And most days I do.
For me, my creativity is fueled and mental clarity is more abundant. I feel lighter and more fluid in my yoga practice. Also, I have never encountered a more perfect mood elevator. Green smoothies make me a happier person. For real.
For my husband (he digs them too), his job requires extreme focus and awareness. He spends a lot of time in the courtroom and meeting with clients. He always needs his game to be on and green smoothies are his secret weapon.
Lately I've been adding a pear to the mix. In the blender goes one apple, one pear, frozen strawberries and about 3-4 cups dark greens (the kale in this photo is packed in there, it doesn't look like much but indeed, there is a lot). Add an optional drizzle of maple syrup/agave/or honey, and about one quart of water. Whirl away.
Yes, the whole blender is for me. Half now, half later.
