Busy, rainy, lovely. What a weekend. Adam was in Maine on a fishing trip, just the girls here. We had such a great time. Watched some chick flicks, Flicka (tolerable), Little House (love), sewed, took Emily's room back in time about 85 years (post pictures later on), made a glass harmonica, knit, Emily prepared a special package for our neighbor, drank tea, discussed philosophy, (amazing what happens when you put a mug of tea in a little one's hand, sit across the table from them, and wait), finished two books, started one, created Emily's House Tour costume. You get the idea. We also came up with a new favorite snack. That would be Nutella over anything. Apples were great, strawberries even better. I imagine you could spread Nutella over a radish and it would be divine!
And because I posted a terrible photo on Friday of the backside of this very cute spring skirt Emily made for herself, here is a better view. Good job Emily, and the entire ensemble... perfect.
psst... inside that little rasta bag? emily's knitting.
